Cultural Enrichment at NES

On Wednesday, the NES community was fortunate to have Tony Vacca, Abdou Sarr, and Massamba Diop visit and share music and dancing from Senegal.  It was part of the Sengeal America Project that brings two cultures together to share music and grow global awareness.  Students in grades 4, 5, and 6 attended workshops during the morning to learn either drums or dance.  In the afternoon, they performed on stage!  Everyone did a wonderful job and learned a little about West African culture.
